Generating your own leads for you MLM or home business can be a very daunting task. Most likely, you have spent a lot of money due to inexperience in the industry. Or, like many, you were totally confused about the process of “lead generation.”
I am here to tell you it’s ok. It is so important that you are here now, and not giving up until you discover what works. So let’s dive in...
I have a laser-targeted process to bring 40-60 quality prospects to me every day, and I will walk you through that process.
Now I'm going to do my best to make this process as clear as I can. However, I urge you to seek a mentor that has achieved the results you desire and learn from them.
Here is my plan...
*First, you must establish your purpose for generating your leads. (The opportunity you are in, an affiliate product, your own e-newsletter, your own “about me” page, etc…)
*Second, you must create and post a lead “capture page” that is related to your offer. (This is a one page website that gives some free information in exchange for your prospect’s contact info.)
The lead capture page may include your own system and information or you may use a system another leader in your opportunity provides. So, I may put up my own capture page but I can also give my team a few different capture pages that include email “autoresponders” already set up for them.
Also, I DO NOT RECOMMEND using your company’s corporate replicated capture page. My experience has shown that they do not work!
When your lead has opted-in with their information, they will be redirected to whatever website you choose for them to go to. This site can be a page about your opportunity, a personal website, or a site with more information you think they could use
*Third, you must decide the tools you would like to advertise with. (articles, press releases, Google adwords, social media, etc…) I recommend using all of these.
Once you have decided upon an advertising strategy you are comfortable with, you must begin to place ads for your opportunity.
These ads will have a link to your lead capture page, and this page is where you will drive the traffic to. As you run your ads and flow traffic to your website, your leads begin to come in! And all of us want leads, right?
*Fourth, as these leads come in, they will automatically be added to your email autoresponder. The autoresponder is very important as your email messages through this system are the way you begin an ongoing relationship with your prospects. So be sure to remember this as you create the follow-up emails.
The emails should be following up with your prospects every two to three days. (or at least once per week) When you being to build solid relationships with your prospect list, they will begin to call you! Phone conversations are very important because they allow you to build trust with your prospects and they will want to sign up with your opportunity.
*Fifth, make sure to keep an eye on your traffic sources to see which advertising methods are working out.
*Sixth, keep track of your list on a regular basis. Your list is only valuable if they know and respect you as a leader in the industry.
*Seventh, repeat this process.
When you use this process over and over, it will consistently bring you hundreds of new leads every month, and eventually every week. Now what other industry has prospects call YOU? It really is that simple.
You must remember that one of the vital keys to generating leads is to know exactly where to place you ads, how to write them, and how to lay out your capture page. These elements will determine your ability to succeed!
The value of your ad copy is also crucial to success. You must be able to write persuasive copy, or outsource to someone with experience. If you believe you can achieve the skills of a master copywriter, then make copywriting courses at the top of your list of things to learn.
I have outlined everything I have learned the hard way over the past year. I have to tell you to be prepared to experience difficulties, frustrations, and even failures along your learning curve in this industry. Just hang in there. These experiences push you to achieve even more.
Once again, if you want to avoid 90% of the learning curve, find a mentor who has achieved great results, and learn from them!
